National Investments Competition

In 2019, Future IM/Pact will run a National Investments Competition in universities across Australia in partnership with the University Network of Investing and Trading society (UNIT).  Gender balanced teams of four will complete a range of investment challenges to compete for a 2019 summer intern placement with a Future IM/Pact partner. Teams will be evaluated by some of Australia’s leading investors, and will also receive access to Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC), an 8 hour self-paced e-learning course that provides an introduction to the financial markets.

What’s in it for you?

  • You’ll get the opportunity to work alongside senior leaders and influencers every day in a collaborative environment.

  • Gain relevant experience by contributing to important business projects.

  • Start building your career from day one with hands on coaching to develop your technical skills.

  • Work in an organisation that has been recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE).

  • Learn more about our business and your colleagues at social events, informal learning sessions, and company wide updates.

Applications for internships and graduate roles open in June and close by mid-August.

This program provides interns with real work experience through practical application of their studies. They work on two real projects with two different asset classes during their 8 week stay and then create and share a presentation to the Investments department. The intake for this program is small and the experience gained is invaluable. Successful internships lead to graduate positions within the team.
